“We had the absolute pleasure of having Nicola (Nic’s Nibs) as a private chef for my sister’s hen do this past weekend, and I honestly cannot recommend her highly enough. From start to finish, the experience was flawless and truly unforgettable. While we were out for a walk, Nicola arrived and quietly worked her magic. We returned to find the most beautifully set table – intimate, elegant, and full of thoughtful, personal touches, including fresh poppy flowers as a nod to my sister, Poppy, the bride-to-be. It was such a lovely surprise and showed just how much care Nicola puts into her work.

The food was absolutely incredible. We chose a Middle Eastern-inspired sharing menu, and every dish was bursting with flavour, stunningly presented, and unbelievably delicious – easily some of the best food any of us have ever had. To top it all off, dessert was a standout: the most amazing crumble (Poppy’s favourite!) served with rich, creamy homemade ice cream. It was the perfect way to end the evening. Nicola herself is not only a phenomenal chef, but also such a professional and genuinely lovely person to have around. She was calm, kind, and quietly efficient – everything ran like clockwork. By the time she left, the kitchen was immaculate, as though she’d never been there – except for the lingering memory of one of the best meals we’ve ever had. Thank you Nicola!!!
